Volunteers needed for Mental Health Week

EVENT CREW NEEDED

To celebrate Mental Health Week 2009, Federation Square in Melbourne is hosting a huge day of entertainment and high jinx suitable for the whole family. The Bipolar Bears are recreating ACDC's 1975 truck drive down Swanston St to get the day moving in true rock 'n roll style, if you're not a big music fan, this is one of the most famous live music moments in history.

'Mad Hatters 09' is in it's fifth year and just keeps getting bigger with all the people involved and this year is planned to be the most fun yet!

We're now putting a call out, for families, friends and people who live with a mental illness, to come along and help make the day the best ever by volunteering an hour or two to help the event run at it's best. We want to show Melbourne that Mental Illness doesn't have to be all negative, that we all need to let our hair down and just have fun occasionally. It will be even more of an exciting and welcoming event with people coming from all over Victoria to get together and show our unified strength, meet people who you can connect with and see that no one is truly alone in this world of mental illness.

If you can please share this invite to your own groups and networks, that would be fantastic. If you think you can help out in any way (there's lots of jobs) please don't hesitate to get in contact with me;

Thankyou and hope to see you there! Stay tuned..
