In 2009, we encourage our supporters and sponsors to maintain their focus on their diversity initiatives, thereby continuing to build toward social and workplace inclusion. We hope to create an event that will reiterate the importance of harnessing the unique skills of all our people for both commercial and social benefit.
The 2009 Diversity@Work Awards will reinforce the benefits and importance of social inclusion within business, government and the community.
The Event will be a Gala Dinner on Thursday 15th October at the Peninsula at the Central Pier, Docklands. This fully accessible and exciting new venue will host 800 attendees, representing our business, government and community sectors. To ensure an inclusive event, Diversity@Work has increased the number of limited openings available for community groups.
The 2009 Diversity@Work Awards will boast a number of high profile Australian artists, musicians and community members who represent our diverse Australia including Reverend Tim Costello, CEO, World Vision and Jenny Brockie , SBS as Master of Ceremonies.
Our aim is to ensure that the Diversity@Work Awards remain inspirational and celebratory…that they provide opportunity to reflect on what we are doing well, a chance to share each other’s stories.
