ARAFEMI’s mission is to promote and improve the well being of people affected by mental illness.
To be a strong contender for this role, you will need to be a highly motivated leader and manager. You will be an excellent communicator with a track record of developing marketing and communication plans and building successful stakeholder relationships in order to advance ARAFEMI’s profile, enhance its growth and support its sustainability beyond its present levels. An understanding and commitment to the provision of quality mental health is essential. Experience working with philanthropic organisations to leverage growth would be an advantage.
Candidates are asked to reply to each of the following criteria. Candidates should outline their relevant experience at a senior level, using examples to illustrate their experience.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a clinical discipline and/or health management, and or business qualifications
- Experience providing mentorship and leadership to an organisation
- Demonstrated skills in organisational management
- An understanding of the impact of mental illness on individuals, their families and carers
- Proven experience building and developing strategic partnerships
- Excellent oral and written communications and a strong ability to clearly communicate with a diverse range of staff
- Development and promotion of team-work at a service, program and cross-functional level to enhance performance
